No Red routes!

After comments were made at the day of action, we at Tunstall Together C.I.C and CllR Din were very concerned.

TTCIC has reached out and asked for answers, and here is our finds of the process.

A Red Route would be the final nail in the coffin for high street.

We are happy with the findings, and will keep a close eye to make sure the situation remains the same.

Latest Drop in Surgery - 07.03.26

Our three-weekly drop in surgery went well at Tunstall Post Office on Tunstall High Street with Cllr Tabrase Din and PCSO Susan Wall Staffordshire Police.

These sessions are a great opportunity for local residents to put a face to the name and meet both their town councillor and a member of Staffordshire Police in an informal setting.

Whether you have a concern, need advice, want to share feedback about the area, or simply want to stop by and say hello, everyone is welcome.

Our goal is simple: be present, listen to the community, and help where we can.

Out of respect for residents, we don’t take photos of anyone attending these sessions. They aren’t photo opportunities, they’re about giving the community a chance to speak openly with their councillor and local police.

Next drop-in location will be announced soon, keep an eye on this page for details.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by this morning! And thank you to Aarron and his team at Tunstall Post Office for having us and for the cup of tea!

New CCTV Camera Installed at the Boulevard Underpass

We’re pleased to share that a new CCTV camera has been installed this morning at the Boulevard, monitoring the businesses and the underpass.

Cllr Tabrase Din, local PCSOs Staffordshire Police, and us at Tunstall Together C.I.C. have long been advocating for cameras to be positioned at both sides of the underpass. Today, thanks to Stoke-on-Trent City Council, they are now in place.

While there has been very little reported anti-social behaviour in the area, these cameras will go a long way in helping the community feel even safer when using the underpass. They will also support efforts to identify and address any incidents of rubbish dumping.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, it’s another positive step for our community.

Saturday we held this year's first joint drop in surgery, where the Town's Councillor and Staffordshire people met with several members of the public and town business owners, (We took pictures of only the familiar faces, we would never picture the general public attending these surgeries)

Highlighted was litter around the town, potholes, Christ Church's wall, electric bikes on pavements, and help and advise from both Cllr Din and the police.

These surgeries will be three weekly - monthly basis, in different locations. TBA,

Tunstall Together C.I.C will provide a private space, for conversations that the public don't feel should be said in a public setting.

We will also announce shortly some support organisations that will host 121 appointments and group sessions, very soon.

We are here to connect you to help and advise.

If you have any enquires please get in touch, or see our "Useful contacts" page. (we are editing the site, so more contacts to be added) Who would you like to meet with? Email us at Info@Tunstalltogethercic.co.uk

There's something of a Ding Dong In Tunstall.

Our Beloved clock Tower is once again Chiming! Well done to Stoke-On-Trent City council for fixing a part of our identity in Tunstall Town.

Banking Hub has come to Tunstall Early! Launches properly from March.

The Banking Hub launched a couple of weeks ago, and Tunstall Together CIC has now compiled a timetable outlining which banks will be available on specific days. (The hub is open now, but more banks to come from March)

Lloyds Bank will close its doors on 8 March, marking the loss of the last remaining bank branch in Tunstall. However, the opening of the new Banking Hub on the High Street, inside Tunstall Post Office provides welcome reassurance, ensuring that essential, face-to-face banking services remain available to support the local community.

Everyday counter services will be delivered through the Post Office. In addition, customers will have access to a private and confidential space to speak directly with a representative from their bank, in line with the attached timetable.

Further details are provided in the accompanying information.

Tunstall Together Supports Vulnerable Families with Christmas Care Packages

Over the Christmas period, vulnerable families affected by domestic abuse were able to experience some festive cheer thanks to the efforts of Tunstall Together C.I.C.

Tunstall Together distributed the Christmas gift and care packages, made possible through supplies of essential items from Period Power and toys and board games collected by Asda.

Thank you!

The initiative aimed to provide both practical support and a sense of comfort during what can be a particularly challenging time of year for those affected by domestic abuse.

Tunstall Together would like to thank Staffordshire Police for contacting the organisation and supporting the initiative by collecting and delivering the gift packages on its behalf, ensuring they reached families in need safely and efficiently.

While the Christmas campaign offered vital seasonal support, Tunstall Together remains committed to providing care packages throughout the year to vulnerable individuals and families across the community.
