Rhapsody Records
A personal note from Andy the shop owner.
During 2012 with the resurgence of interest in the vinyl format, I started to invest in Stoke with the intention to create a business that was to be known as Rhapsody Records.
In April 2014 I took the plunge, despite global interest was still at a low. This venture took place in Tunstall Market, but in 2016 the opportunity arose to obtain the premises of 25 the Boulevard. During this period, many existing businesses had started to flourish and many more starting up who like me could see the potential.
I’m proud to support not only my own business but other local businesses too, as we work together to bring our high street in Tunstall back to life.
Customer service is at the heart of everything I do. I’ve created a welcoming hub for the public, for our local community and visitors from further afield, where people can feel valued, supported and looked after.
I take real pride in what I do and in the town I’m part of. I’m passionate about supporting the local area, driving positive change, and helping to increase footfall on our town.

Tunstall Post Office
Tunstall Post Office has been a long-standing and well-known fixture on the high street, serving the local community for many years. Now owned by 26-year-old Aaron, who grew up in the retail world thanks to his parents experience in grocery stores, petrol stations, and smaller post offices, the branch continues to thrive under his leadership.
One of the largest and busiest post offices in the area, Tunstall now has a team of five, including Emma a valued team member of 10 years along with Raj, who joined 14 months ago, and Nazakat, who started 4 months ago. Aaron, who has managed the post office for two years, describes his journey as “a long road, a rollercoaster, but very rewarding.”
The team is currently seeking another member to join and train across all areas of the business.
Aaron has been serving the people of Tunstall for the last 2 years has described his journey so far as a "long road but very rewarding."
Aaron understands that the Post Office means a lot to the residents and that it is a staple of the community. He finds the people of Tunstall very friendly and full of character but not afraid to speak their minds. They are very opinionated and know what they want and he will take on board any suggestions that the local residents want or need. He also has found that there is a good age range of customers who use the services the post office offers and each and everyone of those people are very welcome.
Tunstall post office has been a long standing and well known fixture in the town .
Since Aaron has taken over the post office it has been modernised and been a new lease of life
The post office will continue to serve the people of Tunstall and to meet their needs and to adapt the post office for the future. Aaron and his staff wish the people of Tunstall to know that is a joy and pleasure to serve them and hopes to carry on doing so for many years.
Post Office Shop
Some of the local residents suggested the shop inside the post office could offer more products. The post office took on board what suggestions were put forward and expanded the shop with more products and several fridges containing drinks. Alcohol and Cigarettes will be available soon. Aaron is hoping that in the near future the post office will be a one stop shop. So, you can post your letters, buy a bottle of milk and bread, buy tickets for the lottery and pay your bills.
